Extending Life Span by SENS: Does It Make a Logical Sense? In this essay that was submitted to MIT Technol. Rev. but rejected on the ground of “substandard” English, step-wise revelation of the illogical nature of the SENS cure for aging is provided.  It is hoped that, by using SENS as an extreme example, public should realize that scientific conclusions must follow logical reasoning and specialized knowledge must conform to general principles. Illogical hypotheses, no matter how attractive they are, should subject to more scrutiny before they are placed into testing, especially when they will consume huge amount of money and carry with some serious consequences.15 comments Abstract
A Nonsense Competition with a Laughing ResultAs a highly publicized event the SENS Challenge finally finished its first round (and most likely also its last round) of competition. The result of the competition is that none of the essays submitted has won the prize but, nevertheless, half of the prize money was given to one losing essay.  So after this round of competition, not only SENS is not disproved as of unworthy of learned debate, it is actually officially placed into some “antechamber of science” and just “wait (possibly in vain) for independent verification”. What a set back is this to the mainstream gerontologists! What a great disappointment is this to the organizer of the Challenge!13 comments Abstract
Reply to Liu's Criticisms
In this article, written as a letter to Dr. Liu, I summarise my reasons for believing that his recent criticisms of SENS (Logical Biology 6(3):39-46) are invalid.

In Division We LoseNature has continued its long-history of rejecting a true discovery on cell life even after it has begun to publish observations accommodating that theory but still lacking some correct insights contained in the new cell life theory. Why would Nature insist on rejecting publishing a pioneer’s work and even a review of some validated works? What is the nature of Nature in terms of communicating nothing but the truth?15 comments Abstract
Aging, Diseases and Cure of Aging?A disease may cause an early ending of life. However, aging is not a disease as it normally happens to all lives. Unfortunately, current aging research is largely disease-oriented and has been incorrectly aimed at studying the effects of mutation on life span and the searching for longevity genes.32 comments Abstract
